Rizon

Terms of use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Rizon at rizon.markets: the trading game, the website and the public API. By using Rizon you agree to them. They're written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us at support@rizon.markets.

Who we are

Rizon is run by an Australian sole trader. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that operator, and "you" means you. Write to us any time at support@rizon.markets.

Rizon is a play-money game

  • No real money is traded on Rizon. There are no deposits and no withdrawals.
  • Your balance is paper money with no value. It can't be cashed out, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or anything else, on Rizon or anywhere.
  • Prices are real; trades are not. Rizon shows live market data (the Bitcoin price from public exchange feeds), but your trades exist only on Rizon. Nothing on Rizon is financial advice, an offer of a financial product, or a recommendation to trade anything anywhere.
  • Live mode is a preview. Real-money trading isn't open. The live account shows $0.00 and can't hold funds.
  • The game can change. We may reset balances, add or remove markets, change contract terms, limits and features, or pause Rizon, at any time.

Early access ($2)

  • What you get. Early access is a one-time payment of US$2. It gives you a place in live trading's first wave if and when live trading opens, and founder cosmetics (a banner, frame, name effect and badge) as soon as your payment goes through.
  • No promise that live trading opens. Live trading may never open, may open later than you'd like, and may not be available where you live. We don't promise a date.
  • Refunds. Until live trading opens, you can have your $2 back for any reason: email support@rizon.markets with your callsign. We may remove the founder cosmetics from a refunded account.
  • 18 or over. You must be at least 18 to buy early access.
  • Payments are by Stripe. Stripe processes the payment; we never see or store your card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
  • Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.

Your account

  • It starts with your browser. Rizon makes a pseudonymous account for your browser: a callsign (you can change it) and a token kept in your browser's storage. If you clear that storage without having set a password, the account can't be recovered.
  • Keep your password and API keys safe. You're responsible for what's done with them. We keep only a hash of each API key, so we can't show a key again: make a new one if you lose it.

Public by design

Rizon is a shared, public exchange. Your callsign, profile (picture, record and highlights), trades and positions, chat messages, feedback sent from the app, and leaderboard rank are visible to everyone, in the app and through the public API. Replays you share are public at their link. Don't put anything private in your callsign, profile, chat or feedback.

Fair play

Don't use Rizon to:

  • break the law, or harass, threaten, impersonate or spam anyone;
  • post anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit, or anyone's private information;
  • attack, overload or probe the service, get around its rate limits, or get into accounts that aren't yours.

Trading from code is welcome: bots and AI agents can use the public API within its documented limits. We may remove content, reset or suspend accounts, revoke API keys, or block access when these terms are broken, or to protect the game and the people playing it.

What you post

You keep the rights to what you post (chat messages, profile pictures). You give us permission to show it on Rizon and through the API, and to show replays you choose to share.

No warranty

Rizon is provided as it is. Market data can be delayed or wrong, feeds can stall, the service can go down, and contracts settle on the prices Rizon records. Because nothing on Rizon has monetary value, to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for any loss from using it. Where the law does make us liable, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid us.

Changes

We'll update these terms as Rizon changes and change the date at the top. Using Rizon after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
