Rizon is a play-money trading game run by an Australian sole trader. This notice says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions and requests: support@rizon.markets.
The short version: you don't need to give us your name or email to play. We collect what the game needs, your email only if you choose to give it, and a little about how you found us. No ad trackers, and we don't sell your data.
What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A pseudonymous account: a callsign and a random token, kept in your browser's local storage | The first time your browser opens Rizon | So the game knows your trades and balance are yours |
| A password (stored only as a hash) | If you set one, to log in elsewhere | To sign you in |
| Your trades, orders, positions and balance | When you trade | To run the exchange and the leaderboard |
| Chat messages, reactions, feedback, profile picture and highlights | When you post them | To show them, publicly |
| Your email | If you join the live-trading waitlist or buy early access | To tell you when live trading opens, and about your purchase |
| Payment records from Stripe: amount, time, status and the email you gave Stripe | If you buy early access | To give you early access and handle refunds |
| How you use live mode (switching to it, tapping Deposit, how much you'd start with) and how you heard about Rizon, if you tell us | When you do | To learn whether people want real-money trading |
| How you arrived: the link's ref or UTM tags, the referring site, the page you landed on, your time zone, device type (phone, tablet or desktop) and language | Once, when your browser first lands | Only to understand which channels bring people to Rizon |
| API keys, stored only as SHA-256 hashes | If you make one | To check the keys your code sends |
Our server sees your IP address with each request and uses it for rate limits; we don't store it with your account. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs that include IP addresses.
What we don't do
- No ad trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cookies: your browser's local storage holds your account token, your settings and how you first arrived.
- We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
- We never see your card number: Stripe handles payment details.
What's public
Rizon is a shared exchange, so some things are public by design: your callsign, profile (picture, record and highlights), trades and positions, chat messages, feedback sent from the app, and leaderboard rank. Anyone can see them in the app and through the public API, and replays you share are public at their link.
Who else handles it
- Stripe processes early-access payments and keeps payment records under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider runs the servers and stores the database, which may be outside Australia.
- Our email provider forwards messages you send to support@rizon.markets.
We'll share information if the law requires it, and never otherwise.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your account while it exists, and your waitlist email until live trading opens or you ask us to remove it. To see, correct or delete your data, email support@rizon.markets with your callsign. We may keep payment records as long as the law requires.
Changes
We'll update this notice when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
